Finally i have some time to update my blog and get some rest. I have been totally deprived from sleep the last few nights.Assignments are killing me..just handed in my assignment today which is the 3rd one in 7 days! Not to mention i have to hand in another assignment due this friday..sigh!! Was stuck home the whole weekend doing my assignments and after sleepless nights for the past few days, i decided to take a night off and focused on something else other than my assignments. Therefore i decided to go karaoke..woohoo!!

Cant remember when was the last time i went ktv. My sis colleagues decided to organized a karaoke night, sort of a welcoming party for her and i decided to tag along..well it was suppose to be 8 of us going including me but in the end only 4 of us went :( But nonetheless i did had lots of fun probably because it was such a relieved being able to relax for awhile and maybe cause less people meant more singing for me ^^

We went to this place call Zoo as they have those package prices on weekdays where for NZD 25 per head you get 3 hours of singing + one meal and drink. Aha most of you who arent from NZ must be thinking, its just like greenbox/redbox in msia. Yeah it is, but you dont get packages like this in NZ where most ktv charged by the hour/room. The last time we went Zoo, we end up paying like 300+ for the 8 of us for 3 hours. Therefore i would say today was well worth it..

We didnt manage to sing for 3 hours though as firstly we were late there. Sis had work till 5.15 and we had to take the bus there and end up arriving at 6.30 p.m and we end up leaving a little earlier too. But still, the food was surprisingly good, as i was expecting fried rice/ fried noodles, (those that you find in greenbox :p) I end up having beef brisket one rice which was really yummy, well most of us did but one of my sis colleagues jason, had prawns on rice which i thought look so much better lol. I guess its like the saying the grass is always greener on the other side? However, I think NZD 25 was well worth it, as one meal+drink would cost u at least NZD15 anywhere else and for an extra NZD10 now u get 3 hours of signing!! Would definitely do it again some other time, maybe with a few more people..having a sore throat now from all that singing ^^

Sigh, back to the library and more sleepless night doing my next assignment starting tmr :(
